Christopher Michael Holley, known for his recurring role on NBC’s State of Affairs and for his role as ‘Beanie’ in Smokin Aces, has joined the production team for the pilot of Rellik, a revolutionary new crime thriller being filmed in Sacramento at the end of April 2015.
Holley’s star is definitely on the rise. He has been in numerous feature films including Smokin Aces, Smokin Aces 2: Assassin’s Ball, Pride & Glory and Stretch. He’s appeared on screen opposite Hollywood heavyweights such as Ray Liotta, Ed Norton and Katherine Heigl. And he takes much pride in calling Sacramento his home.
While working on Rellik, Christopher will be joining Emmy Award Winners, Tim Russ (Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Renegades & iCarly) who will be directing and composer Alex Wilkinson (Aladdin & Stargate SG-1). Also on the team, famed stuntman and stunt coordinator, Gary Davis, whose most recent projects include X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2, and Casting Director Toni Staniewicz, whose casting credits include network shows I Almost Got Away With It and Wives With Knives.
Rellik is an original series, following the lives of two detectives, as they pursue a serial killer…who seems just a little too familiar. They are the perfect partners, one calm and analytical, the other hot-headed and driven. But when a killer begins targeting abusers of women and children, ghosts from each of their pasts pull them apart. And when their Captain announces the case is being taken over by the FBI, they literally fight to stay on the case. What neither detective realizes is that finding this killer, may end both their careers…if not their lives.
Rellik is being produced as a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) New Media Project by Sacramento Area writers and producers. The pilot, and hopefully future episodes, will be filmed and produced in the Greater Sacramento Region featuring local talent.
Rellik producers are looking to cast local, Northern California actors and hire local crew. Actors can visit Relliktheseries.com for more information. Potential crew members should send an email to email@example.com, with the subject line “Crew Submission”.
