Alex Wilkinson, the holder of two Golden Reels and an Emmy for his work on Aladdin, will be composing an original score for the pilot of Rellik, a revolutionary new crime thriller being filmed in Sacramento at the end of April 2015.

Mr. Wilkinson has been a music editor on over 250 films, television shows, and episodes, composing music for Hallmark, Disney, MGM, New Line, Artisan, MTV and more.   Throughout his career he has been honored with an Emmy Award, two Golden Reel Awards and 7 nominations.

Alex will be joining Rellik director, Emmy Award Winner, Tim Russ  (Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Renegades & iCarly) who will be directing, along with famed stuntman and stunt coordinator, Gary Davis, whose most recent projects include X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2.  Also already serving as Casting Director for the project is Toni Staniewicz

, whose casting credits include network shows I Almost Got Away With It and Wives With Knives.

Rellik is an original series, following the lives of two detectives, as they pursue a serial killer…who seems just a little too familiar. They are the perfect partners, one calm and analytical, the other hot-headed and driven. But when a killer begins targeting abusers of women and children, ghosts from each of their pasts pull them apart. And when their Captain announces the case is being taken over by the FBI, they literally fight to stay on the case. What neither detective realizes is that finding this killer, may end both their careers…if not their lives.

Rellik is being produced as a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) New Media Project by Sacramento Area writers and producers. The pilot, and hopefully future episodes, will be filmed and produced in the Greater Sacramento Region and feature local talent.

Rellik producers are looking to cast local, Northern California actors and hire local crew. Actors can find casting calls at http://tonistaniewiczcasting.com/.  And potential crew members should send their filmography to relliktheseries@gmail.com, with the subject line “crew submission”.

The producers are also seeking additional funding for the production via IndieGoGo.
