SACRAMENTO, CA – Rellik, the new crime thriller being filmed in the Sacramento region and directed by Tim Russ (Star Trek Voyager), has announced the cast list on their website and as promised the cast list is awash with Sacramento area talent.
Some of the notable names amongst the list of actors is Good Day Sacramento’s Mark S. Allen, who will be making a cameo appearance. Allen has had roles in a number of feature films including The Fantastic Four, Chain Letter and No Parking. He also serves as the host of Mark at The Movies.
In addition Rellik will feature well known Sacramento actors Nick Fenske, whose credits include NBC’s State of Affairs, along with feature films Eyes of a Killer and Stretch; Jeffrey Ferguson, whose credits include the upcoming comedy feature film Meet the Blacks and NBC’s Trauma; and Charlie Holliday, whose numerous TV and film credits include Kindergarten Cop, The Hustle, Mad City and so many more.
Heading up the cast will be Brian Jagger as Eli Kenton and Craig DeLuz as Dante Valentino.
Jagger has appeared as a guest star on dozens of TV episodes with networks such as NBC, Discovery and Investigation Discovery. He also had the honor of doing a principal role scene with the late Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman in Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master.
DeLuz is a well-known media personality, appearing on TV and radio shows throughout the state of California. He has been on ABC’s Nightline and done commentary and analysis for local NBC, CBS, ABC & Fox affiliates. As an actor, Craig is best known for his work on stage as “Louie” (short for Lucifer) in Calvary Christian Center’s original stage production Oh Hell No: A Revelation of Hell. And as the host of Sacramento Film Works, Craig gets a chance to interview the movers and shakers from throughout Northern California’s filmmaking community.
In addition to Sacramento regional talent in front of the camera, Rellik also features some of the best and brightest behind the camera as crew and as producers. This includes Rellik Producer Christopher Michael Holley (actor, NBC’s State of Affairs), casting director and executive producer Toni Staniewicz (Wives With Knives, Story of Eva) and executive producer Kirk Uhler whose acting credits include BBC’s Seven Wonders of the Industrial World and currently serves as the Chairman of the Placer County Board of Supervisors. And executive producer Tony Marsh is one of Sacramento’s rising stars with appearances in upcoming films such as The Sparrows: Nesting, Heaven or Hell and past appearances in TV shows such as My Strange Criminal Addiction and I (Almost) Got away With It.
All-in-all The Rellik Production Group has kept good on their commitment to feature Sacramento area talent both in front of and behind the camera.
